Meritbrace Equity (meritbrace-equity.org): Two Websites, Two ASIC Investor Alerts

Meritbrace Equity (meritbrace-equity.org): Two Websites, Two ASIC Investor Alerts — ChainTraceAid Insights

Meritbrace Equity has appeared twice on Australia’s investor warning list, under two different website addresses within six days.

The Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) identifies meritbrace-equity.org in an entry dated 2 November 2026. An earlier entry, dated 27 October 2026, identifies the same business name alongside cazkadelufepm.pro.

Both entries classify Meritbrace Equity as an unlicensed entity.

This is the defining feature of the case. Investors who recognise one website may not know that ASIC has also associated the business name with another, substantially different domain.

The entries can be found on ASIC’s Moneysmart Investor Alert List.

The Two Domains ASIC Has Identified

The regulator’s published list contains these entries:

EntityWebsiteClassificationDate updated
Meritbrace Equitycazkadelufepm.proUnlicensed27 October 2026
Meritbrace Equitymeritbrace-equity.orgUnlicensed2 November 2026

The difference between these domains is significant.

meritbrace-equity.org directly reflects the investment business’s advertised name. By contrast, cazkadelufepm.probears no obvious resemblance to Meritbrace Equity.

A consumer searching only for the business name or its newer domain could overlook the earlier website.

However, the two listings do not establish why different domains were used. They do not prove that one website replaced the other, that both remain operational or that the same individuals registered them.

What ASIC has established is that both website identifiers appear under the Meritbrace Equity name in its unlicensed-entity listings.

Does the Second Listing Indicate a Change of Website?

The six-day interval raises an important investigative question: was Meritbrace Equity being presented through more than one online address?

There are several possible explanations for multiple domains associated with a business, including separate customer-facing websites, changes in online branding or different operational purposes.

None of those explanations can be confirmed from the two ASIC entries alone.

For someone who has interacted with Meritbrace Equity, the distinction matters because investment communications may reference one website while payment instructions, account access or correspondence reference another.

A useful review would compare the exact domains appearing in:

I. Initial investment offers and promotional messages.

II. Registration confirmations and account-access emails.

III. Deposit instructions, invoices and payment references.

IV. Withdrawal correspondence and account statements.

This comparison may help establish how the different online identifiers were used in a particular customer’s dealings.

What ASIC’s Unlicensed Classification Means

ASIC states that entities appearing in the unlicensed category may be offering financial products or services to Australian consumers without holding or operating under the required Australian financial services or credit licence.

The regulator advises consumers to be wary of dealing with listed entities.

Importantly, an investment-related name containing the word Equity does not establish that a business is authorised to provide share trading, portfolio management or financial advice.

The published entries do not independently confirm which financial products Meritbrace Equity offers.

Consumers can check whether a financial services provider holds appropriate authorisation through ASIC’s Professional Registers.

A claimed licence must correspond to the actual entity providing the service. A website’s branding or reference to a registered business does not independently establish that connection.

ASIC’s unlicensed classification is a regulatory warning, not a criminal conviction or a determination of individual customer losses.

If You Have Already Transferred Funds

For affected investors, the two-domain finding makes it especially important to preserve the original transaction history.

The website used to open an account may not necessarily identify the person or institution that received a deposit.

Payment records may contain beneficiary names, bank account details, cryptocurrency addresses or references that do not appear in the investment platform’s branding.

If you have dealt with Meritbrace Equity, retain the original payment confirmations and any messages linking the business to either meritbrace-equity.org or cazkadelufepm.pro.

Where cryptocurrency was involved, transaction hashes and destination wallet addresses may provide an independently verifiable record of transfers.

If you suspect fraud, promptly contact your bank, card issuer or payment provider about available dispute or recall procedures. Australian consumers can also follow Moneysmart’s guidance on reporting investment scams.

Do not send further payments solely because someone claims an additional charge is required to release an existing investment balance.

Why the Earlier Domain Should Not Be Overlooked

The newer Meritbrace Equity listing is not the only relevant regulatory record.

ASIC’s earlier identification of cazkadelufepm.pro creates an additional website reference that affected investors should consider when reviewing their correspondence and payment instructions.

It does not establish the identities of the website operators or the destination of customer funds.

Those questions require transaction-specific evidence.

For Meritbrace Equity, the investigative priority is to determine how the two websites relate to the customer’s experience and whether the payment trail can identify the actual recipients.
